Busy Pickles!

Thought I'd share what we've been up to over the last couple of weeks & also what's to come!

Earlier this month Barbara taught the masking technique with stamping & the girls created these cuties :)
The stamps they used were Hero Arts Flower Wood Background, 7 Gypsies Lille & Teresa Collins Noel

Jennie & I visited a local WI and 21 ladies all made their own Christmas Decs!
We have a few mini kits available here!

Marion shared another Fabulous Vintage style Mini Album, so elegant :)

This morning Barbara taught a fabulous concertina folded mini book, lovely!

and this afternoon, Jane, myself, Carol, Meryl & Sandra "finally" finished our Circle Journals Yay!

Coming up we have all sorts of Workshops.
There's Scrapbook Design with Jane on Tuesday morning,
an Amazing Countdown to Christmas piano hinge book next Saturday also with Jane,

Next Monday 28th make a cute Belly Band Petal card with Barbara

and on Tuesday 28th a Brilliantly organised Christmas File Book with Julie

In December we are hosting more workshops and oodles of crops, come along & make those last minute cards, Tims Tags & for anyone participating in Shimelles Journal workshop, we'll provide the tranquility for you to get on with no distractions. Help yourself to our stamps & dies whilst munching on mince pies & slurping a coffee or two!

See you soon!

And More Photos to Share!

The first two photos are of my finished piece from Jennie's Mixed Media Patchwork Workshop last month :)
I love getting messy & the fact that the workshop tables are bulging with stamps, inks & paints to play with!

Jennies Workshops are always jam packed with techniques, next months features Shrink Plastic & you can book here :)

***********

This photo is a random shot of my new toy on display in the shop - I love, love, love it!

It's a 7 Gypsies Receipt Holder. Why do I love it? Because it needs no thought process, just ram in those mini artworks & other random goodies that are too lush to set aside in a drawer. Like a Style File on the wall!

Check out this Video from 7 Gypsies, theirs are AMAZING!

Sketch #5

Sketch #5 is up early this week as I'm away on me hols! Jan & Jane will of course be here to chat & drink tea with so pop in & say hello if you can! Don't forget there's cropping to be had on Saturday so why not come and get away from it all for a few hours.
This last week has flown partly as we were away in Cork for our buds wedding :) So the sketch is based on the layout I did this week on our return. For this I used Prima Papers, 7 Gypsies/Making Memories Stickers & stamped shell images and oodles of Foam Pads.
The card is made with KaiserCraft papers & a stamped greeting duly plastered with Stickles!

As usual please either pop in and show us your creation or post a link in the comments box of either sketch & you will be entered into a £10 voucher draw in 4 weeks time :)
