On a Roll!

Yesterday Jane spent the day guiding the lovely Hilary, Marion & Karel through a Junk Journal with the gorgeous new Prima Doodle Deux Collection. I fear I maybe banging on a little about this line, sorry but I just love, love. love it lol!

In between helping customers, a few new nice ladies too (Hi!) I managed another card and a quick play with a new product.

New product first...
These are Canvas Resist Shapes from Prima, the particular set we have in stock is called "Koolio" & co-ordinates with (yes you guessed it!) Doodle Deux. A quick swipe with Rusty Hinge & Wild Honey Distress Stains & voila, the resist pops! Fabulous textural accents - yum!

Onto my card, virtually all the product used is Prima & Pink Paislee - not intentional, but it all seemed to fit even though they are from different ranges!
Firstly the card base and butterfly stamp is from Pink Paislee Spring Jubilee, the Scripty layer from the Prima BIG Script pad (loving this!) The ruler hemp was a piece left over from yesterdays card. The tickets and bird branch stamps are from this set of Prima Songbird Cling. Finally the row of pearls are here and the crochet lace here :)

Thanks for dropping by, have a Sunny Day!

One for the Weekend!

Today I had time to make a card - Yay!
Mmmm the pinks don't look like they co-ordinate in the photo, but they look ok IRL :)

I used a 5" x 7" Jenni Bowlin Bingo card which you can find in the Clearance section (only 50p each!)
I love them and they're a perfect for the front of a card.

First I inked the edges with Frayed Burlap Distress Ink, punched a scallop circle out of some Prima Script paper and inked the edges of that too.
The pink organza was concertinererered (how do you spell that??!!) onto a strip of DS tape on the scalloped circle, then mounted on the bingo card with foam pads.
The antique key charm was also attached with foam pads & finished off with a thin strip of hemp which had also been given some frayed burlap treatment.
Finally hemp was stamped with these gorgeous Doodle Deux stamps by Prima using Archival Coffee Ink, then cut in half along the length and adhered with DS tape - lovely!

Thanks for dropping by
Have a Gorgeous Weekend everyone, may the sun shine pleeeease!

The Finished Page

So, the other day I mentioned I have started to crochet and I found instructions on how to create a cute edging for pillowcases and the like on Pinterest.

The link took me to this lovely blog which has full instructions. Wonders never cease, I had a lightbulb moment & wondered if I could apply this to card, yes! It works, I'm delighted!!!
The result a simple page using Pink Pailsee Spring Jubilee Papers, a Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch & a few dots of Liquid Pearls with crochet trim :)

Please excuse the plain ol' boring background and header of the blog, I'm afraid the fabulous Shabby Blog folks are having a few malware probs, so I've deleted them just to be safe. Hope they get sorted soon :)

Swoon!

Yet again we've had a multitude of new goodies here at Pickleberry! So good to see bright and cheerfulness in amongst this wet weather we're enduring!
As usual all new goodies are grouped together on the New Products pages and here are a few scrapbook pages created by myself & Jane over the last week or two with some of the new stash :)

Firstly Janes, this double layout uses the Pink Pailsee London Market range and was created for the last Scrapbook Design class. You can book up for the next one on the 22nd May here :)
Isn't it gorgeous!

We're loving the chipboard buttons that have a resist on them (great fun to use with the Distress Stains!)

Here's another whipped up in no time by Jane using the new Doodle Deux range by Prima :)
Lovely and Summery!

So, here's my layout based on Janes workshop using the oh so colourful Pink Paislee Spring Fling collection! A riot of colour, maybe too much, but hey who cares, it was fun!

I have another simpler single page LO using the same papers on the go, it's not finished yet but I wanted to share a peek. I've made my own crochet trim - way hay! (my mother will be shocked!!!)

Lastly for today I wanted to share the window frame we have in the shop!
It was a fleabay find, painted up and attached to the wall by Mal, then expertly decorated by Julie, isn't it fun!

Thanks for stopping by, have a great week!
