A Couple of Quickies!

As you can see I'm still playing with the leftovers from the
June Mini Kit (just can't throw it away can you!)
The Owl is a stamp from the Art Stamps Swirly Birds set,
the greeting from the lovely Sentiment Stamps by Autumn Leaves,
finished off with a few random flowers &
three Pickleberry Posies which have been inked with love!
Tools used are a Woodware Scallop Punch & the
Fiskars Scallop edge punch :)

This card uses more Art Stamps, this time the Feminine Set 1,
and the Autumn Leaves Sentiment Set as above. The background
The cake & Sentiments is stamped with Versafine Black
and coloured with Promarkers then cut out with a Spellbinders die.
The May Arts ribbon is available in store only by the metre.

This card also uses the Feminine Set 1 by Art Stamps.
The background images stamped with Pumice Stone
& the Chandelier, sentiment & Background layers coloured
with Chipped Sapphire Distress Inks. The chandelier was cut
with Spellbinders then Pearl stones attached.
The background paper is MLS Love Birds
The ribbon is available in store only by the metre.

Next Monday & Friday we're running a Sun, Sea & Sand
Journal workshop. A Brilliant way to pre prepare for your
Summer Holiday whether at home or abroad!
The workshop costs just £10 and as usual, you are
welcome to stay for the day and make use of our
extensive stamp & die collection :)

Have a Sunny Weekend!

A Great Weekend!

So, Jane & myself hauled ourselves up to
Birmingham early hours of Saturday morning
to attend the Ranger workshop sponsored by
Personal Impressions at the NEC.

We created a fabby Ikea frame choc full of
Ranger products and techniques taught by
Suze Weinberg, Claudine Hellmuth &
Tim Holtz.

Had to chuckle when I spotted myself on a
photo on Tims Blog, you'd never know it was
me but I assure you I'm the speck on the far right
at the side of the room!

Here's the project we made, this is Tim's example
(photo taken from Suze's Blog)

My copy is in the shop on the Ranger table :)
I just have to finish, no let me be honest - redo
one element then I will upload a photo, LOL!

On Sunday we visited the trade show and
had a good root around!

Orders were placed and the first consignment
arrived today!
Gorrrrrgeous flowers made from paper and fabrics.
Here's one of them...

They're all online here and are currently
taking center stage in the shop, it looks
like a dolls house florist shop! So cute :)

Look out for DIY Prima style layouts and cards,
me thinks we're gonna be busy creating!

Also ordered were cute ickle buttons like these....

and some of these guys

and oodles more, keep checking the Coming Soon &
New Products pages on the site.
Take care for now :)
