Julie Valentines Workshop Day!

Yes really, Julie's surname is Valentine!

So we just had have her teach a Valentines themed workshop and share some of her gorgeous work that she creates here in her studio :)

On Saturday 6th February from 10am - 12 noon or Tuesday 9th you will create an acrylic canvas in your choice of colours and words to adorn any home or, if you can bear it, give away as a gift (perish the thought!)

Here are 2 that Julie has done as examples:

Then you will use your heart template to create this amazing tag (again, heaven only knows how you'll ever manage to attach it to a gift and physically part with it!)

In the afternoon there will be a Valentine Mobile decoration to indulge yourselves with, pictures of that to follow soon :)

Fresh for 2010!

The song lyrics "With a little help from my friends" doesn't quite cut it, so let's change the "Little" to a "LOT!"

Phew! in a matter of 2 hours myself, Jane, Julie & Helen transformed the shop this afternoon, giving it a fresh new look for the New Year.

I can't thank you guys enough, Julie for the cute Cricut wall message, Tim Inspiration Tags & spotty material, Helen for more spotty material (me thinks we all have the same taste!) and being so tall to reach things!, Jane for paperchains, bunting, napkins, a stool! & gorgeous projects which now adorn the shop :)

You are all an inspiration with great ideas!

Snow good :(

Popped down to the shop earlier, snow really thick, car park treacherous and it's snowing again. Even the A251 Ashford road was bad :(
Looks like tomorrow could be a problem too & with more snow forecast for Sunday, heaven only knows what Monday will be like.
